By placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You provide accurate information
• You agree to these Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders where necessary (e.g., suspected fraud, stock errors).

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices include VAT.
• Payments are processed securely by third‑party providers such as PayPal.
• We do not store card details.
• Prices may change at any time, but confirmed orders are not affected.

4. Lead Times & Dispatch Information

Standard Dispatch Times

Most orders are dispatched within 1–3 working days.
If this is not possible, items will be dispatched as soon as they are ready.

A dispatch email will be sent once your order has shipped.

We cannot guarantee dispatch before courier cut‑off times.

Custom Night Vision Systems (NV Builds)

All custom NV systems are built to order.
Their current lead time is clearly stated on each product listing.

Because these items are made to order, they are not subject to standard change‑of‑mind returns.

3D‑Printed Items (Mounts, Spacers, Accessories)

Custom 3D‑printed items typically dispatch within:

• 1–4 working days, depending on printer workload.

This does not include full NV systems.

Higher‑Value Items

Some higher‑value items may require up to 5 working days for dispatch if no lead time is stated.

Pre‑Order Items

Pre‑order items display an estimated arrival date, which may change due to supplier delays.

We update product pages with the latest information.

Courier & Delivery Times

Most UK orders arrive within 2–3 days once dispatched.
We cannot be held responsible for courier delays.

International Orders

Most overseas orders are shipped via Royal Mail/UPS on a 3–10 day tracked and signed service.
Tracking is available on request.

All overseas orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Any VAT, customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees charged by the destination country are the customer’s responsibility.
These charges are not included in our prices and must be paid when the parcel enters the customer’s country.

Items requiring a mains charger are supplied with a UK plug.

5. Product Information

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions and images.
Minor variations may occur due to manufacturing differences or lighting conditions.

6. Returns & Refunds

14‑Day Return Window (Unwanted Items)

You may return unwanted items within 14 days of delivery, provided they are:

• Unused
• In original packaging
• In resellable condition
• Accompanied by proof of purchase

Return postage for unwanted items is the customer’s responsibility.

Custom‑built, modified, or personalised items are not eligible for return unless faulty.

Faulty or Damaged Items (Legal Rights)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the following rights:

• Within 30 days of delivery:
  You are legally entitled to a full refund or replacement for faulty goods.

• After 30 days:
  Your item is covered under our 12‑month warranty, and we will repair, replace, or refund depending on the situation.

This 30‑day rule applies only to faulty/damaged items — not unwanted returns.

Refund Processing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–7 working days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

How to Start a Return

Please email [email protected] before returning an item, providing:

• Your order number

• Reason for return

• Photos or video (if the item is faulty)

We will provide any necessary return instructions.

We recommend using a tracked postal service when returning unwanted items, as the parcel remains the customer’s responsibility until it is received by us.

7. Warranty

Most products include a 12‑month minimum warranty covering manufacturing defects and early component failure.

Warranty does not cover:

• Misuse
• Improper installation
• Water damage (unless rated for it)
• Wear and tear
• Modifications or tampering

8. Product Safety Disclaimer — IR & VCSEL‑Based Illumination

Ludicrous Lumens supplies infrared (IR) illumination products, including units that use VCSEL (Vertical‑Cavity Surface‑Emitting Laser) technology. These products are designed for lawful use with night‑vision equipment.

General Safety

• IR light may be invisible but can still pose a risk if misused.
• Never look directly into an active IR emitter or point it at another person.
• Always follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions.
• Use only with compatible night‑vision devices.

Safe Handling

• Do not disassemble, modify, or tamper with any IR or VCSEL‑based product.
• Avoid directing the beam at reflective surfaces at close range.
• Ensure the device is switched off when not in use.
• Keep products out of reach of children.

Legal Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

• Safe and responsible use
• Compliance with local laws and regulations
• The product is used only for lawful purposes

No Liability for Misuse

Ludicrous Lumens is not responsible for injury, damage, or legal consequences resulting from improper or unsafe use.

9. Liability

We are not liable for:

• Misuse or improper installation
• Damage caused by user error
• Losses not caused by our negligence
• Indirect or consequential losses

Your statutory rights are not affected.
