I was looking for a torch that could be mounted to my rifle to extend shooting time in the darker months, but also as a general search torch that was compact enough to put in a jacket pocket. I was recommended Ludicrous Lumens and the Tri-clops torch stood out to me, for the ability to change colour at the turn of a dial, rather than having to change pills. I have had the torch 3 months and can honestly say it is the best torch that I have ever purchased. The white and the red are really bright and can easily reach out to my boundary some 300 metres away. The amber is less intense, therefore does not throw as much distance. However it is a lovely subtle light which is ideal when walking at night as it does not strain yours eyes. The red is just awesome for target shooting at night, and has the added benefit if required to eradicate pests without the need for expensive NV equipment. The Picatinny mount with the gimble housing is excellent and allows you to point the torch wherever you like, unlike other mounts that may be fixed in one position. The quality of the products are outstanding and Andy is really helpful and responds to queries promptly. I would definitely recommend Ludicrous Lumens products.
